Today was the BIG day! The kids started school. Woohoo! They were all very excited - especially Karis. She could hardly contain herself these past few days. And it WAS a great day - the "drop off" in their classrooms in the morning went very smoothly, and seeing them come home from the bus just chatting away about their day.... the first day of school was a resounding success! Hooray!
Everyone ready for the day
Ben
Nate (trying to look all cool)
And Karis - all smiles

And then the kids were all very excited to ride the bus. They will ride it home each day, but we waited a few days for them to take the morning bus to school. And here's a shot of Karis heading onto the bus in the morning for the first time.
