Yesterday afternoon we went to the Country Harvest Pumpkin Patch. Yeah! It's been a very full month for us, so we were glad to be able to squeeze this trip in -- on the last day the pumpkin patch was open for the season! But we couldn't have picked a better day -- the weather was wonderful (75 degrees!!) and surprisingly the crowd of people there wasn't too bad. This pumpkin patch has become somewhat of a "tradition" for our family as this is the third year in a row that we've gone. It's a very kid-friendly place with lots of rides and activities for them to do. And it was interesting to see the activities the kids preferred this year as compared to last year. The boys and Karis are definitely growing up! And even though each year my pictures are very much the same (... same activities and rides), it will be fun to compare them with the previous years' pictures.
Here are a few shots of our fun-filled afternoon....
The big hillside slide is always a favorite. Nate's all smiles as he slides down.

Everyone gets a chance to enjoy the big trikes.
The corn slide was Karis' favorite last year, and still was this year, too. Although she tends to enjoy just rolling around in the corn over sliding into it.
The boys absolutely loved the hay jump. Doesn't Nate look like he's having fun?!
Then all the kids tried out a new ride at the pumpkin patch this year. There was a seat at the top of the hill which they "rode" down on cables. They were all a little apprehensive at first, but were brave and tried it... and really enjoyed it a lot.
