A day in the SNOW!

Even though there's been snow here in Nebraska for quite some time now, the temps and wind haven't made it feasible to actually go play out in it very much this season. Well, today was a somewhat warmer day (in the 40's), and there wasn't much wind.... so the kids got to spend a good chunk of the afternoon out in the white stuff. Granted, the snow is not nice and fluffy any more - it's more like hard and crunchy. But they didn't care! They still managed to make snowballs and attempt snow angels. They even made a sled of sorts to go down the slide and into the snow. And boy, after a few weeks of pretty much being inside (or in the car!), they really needed this outlet. Here are a few pics of their snowy afternoon....

Hmmmm, I'm not sure what was up with the bricks there. After one time down, we got rid of those. :)
